Colorado Licensed Speech-Language Pathology Assistant
Job Summary
To support a school in Watkins, Colorado, the full-time hybrid Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) will provide therapy services to PreK-12 students, conduct screenings, monitor progress, and collaborate with interdisciplinary teams.
Key responsibilities
- Provide direct therapy services to students and conduct screenings
- Monitor student progress and collaborate with therapists, educators, and parents
- Plan and consult with the SLP supervisor while managing documentation and administrative tasks
Required qualifications
- Valid SLPA Certification from an ASHA approved institution
- Department of education licensure as an SLPA, where required
- State License as Speech-Language Pathologist Assistant, where required
- Experience working with children, preferably in a school setting
- Proficient in the use of technology and able to obtain fingerprint background clearance
