Colorado Licensed Staff Accountant

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Staff Accountant to join their Finance team in a remote capacity.

Key Responsibilities:

• Record daily banking and financial transactions, perform bank reconciliations, and support month-end close activities
• Research and complete state and local compliance filings, assist with year-end activities, and maintain documentation for audits
• Support accounts payable processes, manage vendor relationships, and assist with accounts receivable and client accounting support

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience
• Minimum of three years of experience in an accounting or finance role
• Experience in a multi-location or multi-state organization is preferred
• Demonstrated working knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP)
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and experience with accounting systems such as QuickBooks and Salesforce is preferred
