Job Summary

A company is looking for a Tax Examiner II.

Key Responsibilities

• Examine taxpayer accounts and analyze tax documents for accuracy and compliance
• Coordinate with local government liaisons to ensure accurate distribution of sales and use tax funds
• Provide training and support to staff and assist with complex account issues

Required Qualifications, Training, and Education

• High school diploma or GED
• Three years of experience in bookkeeping, technical accounting, tax administration, or related fields
• Experience with Sales, Use, and Withholding taxes preferred
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel
• Ability to interpret and apply tax laws and regulations
