Job Summary

A company is looking for a Teacher for the Visually Impaired (TVI) to work remotely in Colorado.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct assessments and develop Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) for students
• Adapt curriculum to meet the needs of visually impaired students, including braille and assistive technology
• Provide virtual instruction and collaborate with educational teams to support student development

Required Qualifications, Training, and Education

• Masters Degree in Special Education with an emphasis on Visual Impairments or related field
• Valid Colorado Teaching License with endorsement in Visual Impairments or ability to obtain one
• Certification as a Teacher of the Visually Impaired (CTVI) preferred
• Experience working with students who are blind or visually impaired, including proficiency in braille
• Strong understanding of IEP development and implementation for visually impaired students
