Colorado Licensed Trial Attorney
Job Summary
To represent insureds in all phases of litigation, the full-time Colorado Licensed Trial Attorney will prepare and try moderate to high exposure General Liability and Commercial Auto cases while working fully remote in Colorado.
Key responsibilities:
- Manage all aspects of insurance defense, including legal analysis, pleadings, discovery, and trial preparation
- Conduct legal research and mentor less experienced attorneys while providing leadership within the organization
- Evaluate damages and handle hearings and trials effectively, demonstrating strong case analysis and negotiation skills
Required qualifications:
- Juris Doctor with 7 or more years of litigation experience
- Member in good standing of the Colorado State Bar
- Experience with Microsoft Office, Adobe, and legal research tools like Lexis or Westlaw
- Knowledge of the insurance industry and insurance defense litigation
- First chair jury trial experience preferred
