Job Summary
Analyzing title insurance risks and providing underwriting solutions, the part-time Colorado Licensed Underwriting Counsel will manage residential and limited commercial transactions, conduct training seminars, and ensure compliance with relevant laws while working remotely.
Key responsibilities
- Analyze title insurance risks, underwriting issues, and regulatory concerns
- Provide underwriting solutions to agents and title examiners in accordance with company guidelines and legal requirements
- Present training seminars to educate title agents and production staff
Required qualifications
- Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree
- Minimum 3 years of experience in real property and title insurance
- Member in good standing with the Colorado Bar
- Strong knowledge of real property law in Arizona, Colorado, Nevada, Montana, Utah, and Wyoming
- Excellent understanding of the real estate title and settlement process
