Job Summary

Providing exceptional customer service, the full-time Colorado Patient Account Associate will manage payment details, research and validate payment postings, and initiate recoupments and refunds while working remotely.

Key responsibilities

• Identify appropriate payment details and save backup documentation as needed
• Research, validate, and adjust payment postings to ensure timely account resolution
• Initiate payer recoupments and refunds, following procedures to achieve account resolution

Required qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent (GED) required
• One (1) year of experience in hospital or physician back-end revenue cycle required
• Knowledge of Medicaid and Medicare billing regulations required
