Colorado Patient Account Associate

Job Summary

Providing exceptional customer service, the full-time remote Colorado Patient Account Associate will manage payment details, research and validate payment postings, and initiate payer recoupments and refunds to ensure accurate account resolution.

Key responsibilities

• Identify appropriate payment details and save backup documentation as necessary
• Research, validate, and adjust payment postings while following procedures for account resolution
• Initiate and follow up on payer recoupments, refunds, and patient refunds in accordance with policies

Required qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent (GED) required
• One (1) year of experience in hospital or physician back-end revenue cycle (Payment Posting, Billing, Follow-Up, Collections) required
• Knowledge of Medicaid and Medicare billing regulations required
