Job Summary

Supporting students with Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) in a virtual learning environment, the part-time hourly Colorado Special Education Paraprofessional will facilitate tutoring sessions, assist mentors, and maintain a productive online classroom while promoting student growth and engagement.

Key responsibilities

• Facilitate one-on-one and small group tutoring sessions aligned with student needs
• Assist mentors during live sessions and help manage student engagement in virtual settings
• Monitor student attendance, participation, and assignment completion while maintaining a positive virtual classroom environment

Required qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required
• At least 1 year of experience working with middle or high school students in an academic, tutoring, or support capacity
• Comfort using technology and virtual learning platforms (e.g., video conferencing, Google Workspace)
• Ability to follow instructional guidance and reinforce learning without serving as the primary instructor
• Reliable internet access and ability to work in a fully remote environment
