Job Summary

A company is looking for a Command Center Technician to monitor enterprise IT systems and manage support tickets.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform first-level triage of events, including running scripts to restart system processes and services
  • Analyze, diagnose, and resolve system errors and job stoppages to maintain services and prevent outages
  • Process output from nightly batch jobs and manage data sets on tapes and disk
Required Qualifications
  • Associates Degree in Business, Computer Science, or equivalent work experience required
  • At least 1 year of technical experience, including knowledge of ITIL
  • Working knowledge of mainframe processes, workload automation tools, and enterprise monitoring tools
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications
  • Ability to work flexible shifts in a 24x7x365 environment, including mandatory weekends and holidays
