Job Summary
A company is looking for a Command Center Technician to monitor enterprise IT systems and manage support tickets.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform first-level triage of events, including running scripts to restart system processes and services
- Analyze, diagnose, and resolve system errors and job stoppages to maintain services and prevent outages
- Process output from nightly batch jobs and manage data sets on tapes and disk
Required Qualifications
- Associates Degree in Business, Computer Science, or equivalent work experience required
- At least 1 year of technical experience, including knowledge of ITIL
- Working knowledge of mainframe processes, workload automation tools, and enterprise monitoring tools
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications
- Ability to work flexible shifts in a 24x7x365 environment, including mandatory weekends and holidays
