Job Summary

A company is looking for a Commercial & Scientific Analyst to support its mission through data analysis and modeling.

Key Responsibilities

• Aggregate and conduct research to build forecasts and models related to commodity markets and operations
• Collaborate with teams to answer strategic questions and prepare materials for leadership and investors
• Build and maintain financial models assessing project economics and support various analytical assignments

Qualifications

• Education in a STEM discipline or economics preferred
• At least 1 year of experience in technology, natural resources, finance, or professional services
• Experience with Python or other scientific computing languages and/or financial modeling
• Strong orientation toward first principles thinking in science, technology, economics, and business
• Demonstrated ability to quickly absorb and synthesize complex information
