Commercial Application Engineer

Job Summary

As a full-time remote Commercial Application Engineer, the successful candidate will lead the development of complex proposals for industrial control systems, manage deal financials and risk assessments, and serve as the primary contact for customers and internal teams throughout the proposal lifecycle.

Key responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end proposal development for industrial control systems, ensuring timely submission of tailored bids
• Own deal financials and risk management, presenting deals for approval to the Commercial Review Board
• Coordinate cross-functionally with various teams to manage the transition from inquiry to order phase

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Technology, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience
• Proven experience in technical sales, commercial proposals, or application engineering within industrial controls or power generation
• Ability to read and interpret technical specifications and contractual terms
• Strong skills in presenting complex technical and commercial content to diverse audiences
