Commercial Attorney

Job Summary

To support a growing legal team, the full-time Director - Commercial Attorney will provide strategic legal counsel and manage complex legal matters related to revenue-generating commercial agreements, including ISP platform access agreements and vendor contracts, in a hybrid work environment.

Key responsibilities:

• Oversee and manage complex legal projects related to the company's commercial transactions across multiple states
• Provide expert legal advice to senior leadership on issues related to commercial relationships with ISPs and vendors
• Ensure compliance with laws and regulations while implementing risk management strategies to protect commercial interests

Required qualifications:

• Juris Doctor degree and an active license to practice law in good standing
• 8+ years of experience in commercial transactions and contract negotiation, preferably in telecommunications or infrastructure
• Expertise in drafting and negotiating various commercial agreements
• Experience with dispute management and M&A integration related to commercial agreements
• Knowledge of wholesale fiber and telecommunications industry practices is a plus
