Job Summary

Working remotely, the full-time salaried Commercial Auto Claims Examiner III will manage the examination and investigation of liability claims, ensuring prompt review of policy information and effective communication with involved parties.

Key responsibilities

• Review, process, and conclude assigned commercial auto and general liability claims, including investigations and evaluations
• Interpret policies to determine coverage and oversee outside investigative service providers to advance claims to resolution
• Prepare comprehensive loss reports and maintain an ongoing diary while assessing exposure for accurate reserves and settlement recommendations

Required qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required; bachelor's degree in a related field preferred
• A minimum of 10 years of experience in Commercial Automobile and General Liability claims
• Multi-state adjuster licensure within home state or ability to obtain licenses through reciprocity
• Knowledge of claims handling concepts, practices, and techniques
• Proficiency in computer applications relevant to claims processing
