Commercial Banking Transaction Attorney

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Temporary Commercial Banking Transaction Counsel.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct day-to-day legal activities supporting US Retail Business Banking product owners
• Work directly with bankers and members of compliance, controls, and operations functions
• Handle commercial credit transactions, including documentation and secured transactions

Required Qualifications

• Bar license in good standing in at least one U.S. state (NY, CA, or FL preferred)
• 5+ years of experience as a commercial banking transactional attorney
• Material experience in commercial credit products and associated agreements
• Familiarity with laws and regulations impacting banking products and operations
• Understanding of AML, ECOA, UDAAP, and FCRA regulations
