Commercial Collateral Analyst

Job Summary

Providing analytical support for collateral review, the remote Commercial Collateral Analyst I/II will analyze documentation submitted by commercial customers to verify collateral value and compliance with loan requirements while recommending process improvements.

Key responsibilities

• Provides analytical insight and technical support to lending activities, recommending process improvements as needed
• Obtains and monitors financial documentation, ensuring its accuracy, completeness, and consistency
• Prepares complex reports and journal entries that project the Bank's financial position, identifying variances and developing additional reporting requirements

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in a relevant field or High School Diploma/GED with applicable experience
• 0-2 years of experience in Credit Review, Analysis, or Financial Reporting for Analyst I; 3-7 years for Analyst II
• Experience in commercial banking and/or finance is preferred
• Familiarity with collateral review and documentation
• Proficiency in Excel and experience with reporting and loan systems
