Job Summary

Supporting a longstanding utility industry client, the part-time contract Commercial Contracts Attorney - Utilities will negotiate and advise on IT and technology agreements while working remotely approximately 10 hours per week.

Key responsibilities

• Negotiate and advise on commercial contracts related to IT and technology for utility clients
• Work independently and collaborate with business stakeholders to provide legal guidance
• Ensure compliance with cybersecurity and data privacy regulations in the utility sector

Required qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in commercial contracts
• Prior representation of utility clients in an in-house or law firm setting
• Strong knowledge of cybersecurity and data privacy considerations in the utility sector
• J.D. from an ABA-accredited law school
• Licensed to practice law and in good standing
