Commercial Counsel

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Commercial Counsel to manage legal aspects of business transactions and partnerships.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead negotiation and execution of complex commercial transactions, ensuring compliance with business and regulatory requirements
• Monitor regulatory changes affecting commercial agreements to maintain compliance with healthcare laws
• Develop and manage a commercial contracting playbook to drive consistency and scalability within the organization

Required Qualifications

• J.D. from an accredited law school and admission to at least one U.S. state bar
• 5+ years of relevant legal experience focused on commercial and transactional work
• Experience drafting and negotiating various commercial agreements, including health payor and vendor contracts
• Knowledge of U.S. healthcare regulatory frameworks, such as the Anti-Kickback Statute and Stark Law
• Experience managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
