Commercial Counsel

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Commercial Counsel.

Key Responsibilities

• Own all commercial agreements including SaaS MSAs, DPAs, BAAs, vendor contracts, and NDAs
• Build the legal operations infrastructure, including templates, playbooks, and approval workflows
• Lead privacy and data compliance efforts, including GDPR and CCPA regulations

Required Qualifications

• 4-5 years of legal experience, with significant in-house time at a SaaS or tech company
• Strong track record in commercial contracts, particularly with financial services counterparties
• Working knowledge of GDPR and CCPA, with experience negotiating DPAs
• Comfortable advising on product legal questions in AI, data, or fintech contexts
• Preferred: prior experience in big law or at a well-run enterprise SaaS company
