Commercial Counsel

Job Summary

Commercial Counsel is a full-time, remote position responsible for providing legal support across various departments, managing the contracting function, and ensuring compliance while fostering a collaborative environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary legal contact for multiple departments, resolving inquiries and collaborating with the General Counsel as needed
• Manage the end-to-end contracting process, including drafting and negotiating various agreements
• Develop and maintain legal infrastructure to support company growth and compliance, while interfacing with outside counsel on specialized matters

Required Qualifications

• JD from an accredited law school and active bar membership in at least one US state
• 4-7 years of transactional legal experience with a focus on commercial contracts
• Strong knowledge of SaaS and data licensing, with experience negotiating with enterprise buyers preferred
• Familiarity with healthcare-related regulatory frameworks or a willingness to learn
• Ability to provide actionable legal guidance and demonstrate ownership and adaptability in a dynamic environment
