Commercial Counsel

Job Summary

To support a growing legal team, the full-time remote Commercial Counsel will draft and negotiate various commercial agreements, advise business partners on strategies, and evolve legal processes in alignment with industry standards.

Key responsibilities

• Review and negotiate revenue-generating agreements, including Master Services Agreements and product-specific terms
• Act as a principal legal partner to business stakeholders regarding commercial transactions
• Independently negotiate and close significant go-to-market deals with enterprise and large fintech clients

Required qualifications

• Juris Doctorate
• Law firm and/or in-house legal experience with technology-focused services agreements
• Experience drafting and negotiating agreements involving sensitive data
• Strong understanding of state and federal data privacy laws
• Proven ability to build relationships with business and legal stakeholders
