Commercial Counsel

Job Summary

To support Stripe's growing legal team, the full-time remote Commercial Counsel will draft and negotiate strategic partnership agreements, advise business clients on innovative contract motions, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive new revenue-generating initiatives.

Key responsibilities

• Draft and negotiate high-value strategic partnership agreements and contracts
• Advise business clients on new contract motions and rapidly expanding partnership models
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure scalable go-to-market motions

Required qualifications

• 5+ years of in-house legal experience as a commercial lawyer in a technology company
• Strong understanding of revenue-sharing contract terms and channel partnership distribution
• Working knowledge of global data privacy and security considerations in technology transactions
• Proven ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional colleagues
• Strong sense of ownership and ability to manage multiple concurrent deals under tight deadlines
