Commercial Counsel

Job Summary

To support a growing commercial contracting function, the remote Commercial Counsel will negotiate, draft, and advise on a variety of commercial agreements while partnering with cross-functional teams to manage legal and business risks effectively.

Key responsibilities

• Own negotiation and drafting of commercial agreements, including MSAs, SaaS Agreements, and NDAs
• Partner with Sales to accelerate deal velocity while managing legal and regulatory risks
• Develop and maintain contract templates and improve legal operations for efficiency

Required qualifications

• J.D. from an accredited law school with active U.S. bar membership
• 4+ years of legal experience in health tech or digital health, with both law firm and in-house roles
• Significant experience with data use, privacy, and security in healthcare, including understanding of HIPAA
• Expertise in state and federal laws impacting the business, including FDA and CMS regulations
• Experience negotiating complex deals with multiple stakeholders in the healthcare sector
