Commercial Counsel
Job Summary
To support a leading global financial technology company, the full-time Commercial Counsel (Contract) will manage and negotiate a variety of commercial agreements while providing legal guidance to business stakeholders in a remote environment for a duration of 15 months.
Key Responsibilities
- Draft, review, and negotiate a broad range of commercial agreements, including professional services, procurement, and SaaS contracts
- Provide practical legal guidance on commercial transactions and contract-related issues to business stakeholders
- Partner with procurement, legal, finance, and business teams to facilitate timely contract execution and manage multiple concurrent transactions
Required Qualifications
- Juris Doctor (JD) and active bar membership in good standing
- 7+ years of commercial contracting experience in-house and/or at a law firm
- Strong experience negotiating procurement, professional services, and commercial technology agreements
- Experience with SaaS and software licensing agreements
- Proven ability to independently manage a high volume of complex commercial transactions
