Commercial Counsel

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Commercial Counsel.

Key Responsibilities:

• Support the global sales team and internal business teams in structuring, drafting and negotiating commercial agreements and vendor agreements
• Identify contractual risks and suggest alternatives that lead to optimal solutions
• Optimize contract templates, draft global corporate policies and processes, and develop sales training materials and customer-facing collateral

Required Qualifications:

• Holds a Juris Doctorate and a license to practice law in the U.S
• Has 2+ years of contract review/negotiation experience and sales team support
• Has excellent legal and contract negotiation skills and experience, ideally negotiating with enterprise customers for SaaS/web-based technology product
• Has strong business acumen and ability to build relationships across the business and collaborate cross-functionally to solve problems
• Is highly self-sufficient; can operate with little guidance, while still escalating issues/seeking guidance appropriately
