Commercial Counsel (CA Licensed)

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Commercial Counsel.

Key Responsibilities

• Negotiate commercial contracts for school district sales and vendor engagements
• Contribute to and build templates, playbooks, and documentation for scaling operations
• Partner cross-functionally with various teams to negotiate partnerships with regulated entities

Required Qualifications

• JD from an accredited law school and active membership in good standing of at least one state bar
• 4-6 years of legal practice experience, including in-house experience
• Experience in commercial sales contracting, particularly with SaaS agreements
• Strong foundation in privacy and data protection regulations
• Interest in the education sector and commitment to the mission of providing a free world-class education
