Job Summary
A company is looking for a Commercial Counsel to support its go-to-market and revenue teams, focusing on customer contracts and outbound commercial work.
Key Responsibilities
- Draft, review, and negotiate a high volume of customer-facing commercial agreements, including SaaS agreements and NDAs
- Collaborate with various teams to support efficient deal execution and advise on legal and commercial risks
- Improve contracting processes and contribute to scalable legal operations as the company grows
Required Qualifications
- 6 to 8+ years of relevant legal experience, preferably with a mix of law firm and in-house experience
- Significant experience negotiating customer-facing commercial agreements, especially SaaS and enterprise software contracts
- J.D. and active bar membership in at least one U.S. jurisdiction
- Strong drafting and negotiation skills with a practical approach to problem-solving
- Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment and partner effectively with sales and business teams
