Commercial Counsel (Contract)

Job Summary

To support a leading fintech organization, the full-time Commercial Counsel (Contract) will draft, review, and negotiate a variety of commercial agreements while providing legal guidance to business stakeholders in a remote capacity for a duration of two months.

Key Responsibilities

• Draft, review, and negotiate a wide range of commercial agreements, including vendor and customer contracts
• Provide day-to-day legal advice on contractual, operational, and compliance matters to business stakeholders
• Identify legal and commercial risks associated with business initiatives and develop mitigation strategies

Required Qualifications

• 7+ years of commercial contracting experience
• Strong background in fintech, payments, or regulated financial services
• Experience negotiating complex commercial agreements in a high-growth environment
• Familiarity with fintech products and consumer finance regulatory considerations
• Excellent drafting and negotiation skills
