Commercial Counsel - Licensed Attorney

Job Summary

Commercial Counsel - Licensed Attorney is a full-time remote position responsible for negotiating and drafting commercial agreements, ensuring compliance with data privacy laws, and improving contract workflows.

Key Responsibilities

• Negotiate, draft, and review customer-facing commercial agreements and ensure compliance with data privacy regulations
• Gather internal feedback to streamline the customer contracting process and resolve bottlenecks
• Support other legal projects, including vendor and partner agreements, while enforcing organizational contract policies

Required Qualifications

• 3-5 years of legal experience, with 1-2 years focused on commercial SaaS agreements
• Direct experience negotiating customer-facing agreements such as MSAs, NDAs, and DPAs
• Working knowledge of data privacy frameworks like GDPR and CCPA/CPRA
• J.D. or equivalent degree from an accredited law school and active bar membership in at least one U.S. state
• Proficiency with contract management tools and the MS Office suite
