Commercial Counsel - Licensed Attorney
Job Summary
Managing complex commercial negotiations, the full-time Commercial Counsel - Licensed Attorney will draft, review, and negotiate SaaS subscription agreements and other technology contracts while ensuring compliance with applicable data privacy laws, including HIPAA, in a remote work environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Draft, review, and negotiate technology contracts, focusing on SaaS subscription agreements and vendor agreements
- Serve as an escalation point for complex deal issues and collaborate cross-functionally to facilitate negotiations
- Maintain knowledge of privacy laws and negotiate contracts that comply with regulations related to personal health information
Required Qualifications
- JD and active bar membership in at least one U.S. state
- 4+ years of experience as a qualified lawyer in a leading law firm or technology industry
- Solid understanding of corporate, commercial, and intellectual property law
- Experience drafting and negotiating technology-related subscription agreements for cloud-based offerings
- Proven ability to influence and collaborate with cross-functional teams
