Commercial Counsel (State Licensed)

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Commercial Counsel to provide legal services and advice for its consumer software and hardware business lines.

Key Responsibilities

• Negotiate and draft various commercial and technology agreements, including procurement and advertising sales agreements
• Analyze and mitigate contractual risks while managing contract intake and lifecycle processes
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align business needs with effective commercial agreements

Required Qualifications

• 4+ years of legal experience with at least 1 year in-house experience, preferably with consumer technology clients
• Hands-on experience negotiating and drafting agreements for software and hardware development
• J.D. from an accredited law school and membership in at least one state bar
• Familiarity with SaaS/PaaS agreements and global data processing addendums
• Proactive, solutions-oriented mindset with strong analytical skills
