Commercial Counsel (State Licensed)

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Commercial Counsel to manage a range of commercial transactions and legal matters, focusing on SaaS and data licensing agreements.

Key Responsibilities

• Review, draft, and negotiate complex commercial agreements, including SaaS and data licensing
• Provide guidance on privacy laws and assist in compliance policy development
• Advise on AI-related legal considerations and support legal operations improvements

Required Qualifications

• Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school
• Active membership in at least one U.S. state bar
• 2+ years of relevant legal experience, preferably in technology or law firms
• Experience negotiating SaaS and data licensing agreements
• Familiarity with AI-related contracting or governance frameworks preferred
