Commercial Counsel (State Licensed)

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Commercial Counsel to support a high volume of commercial transactions.

Key Responsibilities

• Draft, review, and negotiate a high volume of commercial agreements, including NDAs and SaaS subscription agreements
• Partner with Sales and RevOps to facilitate deal execution and resolve contract-related issues
• Contribute to improving contract workflows and maintain standard templates and negotiation guidelines

Required Qualifications

• J.D. (or equivalent) from an accredited law school; admitted to practice in at least one U.S. jurisdiction
• 3-5+ years of relevant experience with a focus on commercial technology transactions
• Experience negotiating SaaS or cloud-based software agreements
• Knowledge of data protection/security issues in commercial contracts
• Demonstrated ability to manage multiple deals in a fast-paced environment
