Job Summary

Seeking a Commercial Counsel (State Licensed) to join a dynamic legal team, the full-time role will involve drafting and negotiating various commercial agreements, providing legal counsel on business strategies, and managing the contracting process in a remote work environment.

Key responsibilities

• Draft, negotiate, and advise on commercial agreements including software licenses, NDAs, and vendor contracts
• Provide legal counseling on risks and strategies related to product features and commercial transactions
• Manage complex issues in commercial deals and collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure timely contract execution

Required qualifications

• 6+ years of transactional experience with a J.D. and membership in at least one U.S. state bar
• Proven ability to provide business-oriented legal advice and manage multiple issues simultaneously
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
• Experience in high-tech growth companies or law firms, particularly in commercial transactions
• Ability to work autonomously while being a collaborative team player
