Commercial Counsel - State Licensed
Job Summary
To support a growing legal team, the full-time remote Commercial Counsel - State Licensed will manage a diverse portfolio of commercial contracts while developing expertise in privacy and compliance, engaging with various stakeholders to mitigate legal risks and facilitate revenue growth.
Key Responsibilities
- Draft, review, and negotiate various commercial agreements, including SaaS subscription agreements and vendor contracts
- Assist with global privacy compliance initiatives and provide guidance on contract interpretations and dispute resolutions
- Act as a strategic legal partner to internal teams, offering practical legal advice and collaborating on compliance and operational risk management
Required Qualifications
- Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school
- Active member in good standing of at least one State Bar
- 3-6 years of experience focusing on commercial contracts and technology transactions
- Deep familiarity with SaaS business models and global data privacy regulations
- Enthusiasm for AI and legal technology, with a proactive approach to leveraging new tools
