Job Summary
Seeking a highly motivated and pragmatic Commercial Counsel - State Licensed, the full-time remote position will manage contract review and negotiation, support go-to-market teams, and collaborate across the legal function while working closely with business leaders.
Key responsibilities
- Review, draft, and negotiate a wide variety of commercial contracts for go-to-market teams and vendors
- Provide clear legal advice and support to internal clients while addressing legal and business risks
- Assist in creating and maintaining deal enablement tools, templates, and processes
Required qualifications
- Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school and admission to at least one state bar in good standing
- 2-3 years of experience in reviewing, drafting, and negotiating commercial contracts, preferably in a technology or SaaS environment
- Strong ability to exercise independent judgment in a fast-paced environment
- Demonstrated ability to provide pragmatic, solutions-oriented legal advice
- Familiarity with privacy laws and regulations, including GDPR, CPRA, and CCPA
