Commercial Credit Associate

Job Summary

Managing credit risk for commercial clients, the full-time remote Commercial Credit Associate will analyze financial statements, monitor loan portfolios, and ensure compliance with credit policies while collaborating with relationship managers throughout the lending process.

Key responsibilities:

• Underwrite new credit requests and manage ongoing credit risk through continuous monitoring of loan portfolios
• Analyze financial information and prepare detailed credit analyses, including risk assessments and structure recommendations
• Collaborate with relationship managers to maintain accurate risk ratings and participate in client calls to understand business needs

Required qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or related field, with at least 4 years of experience in commercial credit or financial analysis
• Strong analytical skills with proficiency in financial modeling and credit metrics analysis
• Familiarity with legal documents and structural elements of credit transactions
• Critical thinking and problem-solving abilities
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office
