Commercial Credit Underwriter

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Commercial Credit Underwriter.

Key Responsibilities

• Review and analyze loan application documents for completeness, creditworthiness, and compliance
• Prepare detailed credit memorandums including financial analysis and collateral analysis
• Conduct underwriting calls with borrowers and coordinate third-party reports into credit analysis

Required Qualifications, Training, and Education

• Minimum of five years' experience in credit analysis and underwriting of commercial loans
• Formal bank Credit Training Program or RMA Credit Courses preferred
• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Mathematics, and/or Economics
• Proficient with Microsoft Office products
• Experience with SBA 7A and/or 504 Credit & Underwriting is preferred
