Commercial Credit Underwriter
Job Summary
To support small balance lending, the full-time salaried Commercial Credit Underwriter will conduct financial analyses, assess creditworthiness, and prepare detailed credit memoranda for loan applications.
Key responsibilities
- Conduct financial and credit analyses to ensure compliance with internal regulations
- Analyze loan files and financial statements to determine creditworthiness and business viability
- Prepare comprehensive credit memoranda for presentation to the Credit Committee
Required qualifications
- Minimum of seven years of experience with underwriting ABL/Factoring transactions
- Completion of a formal bank Credit Training Program or RMA Credit Courses
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office products, particularly Word and Excel
- Strong analytical and decision-making skills
- Ability to establish and maintain effective work relationships both internally and externally
