Commercial Credit Underwriter Team Lead

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Commercial Credit Underwriter - Team Lead.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist Credit Managers in supervising the Underwriting Team and reviewing credit memorandums and SBA forms
• Coach, train, mentor, and evaluate underwriters on credit analysis and processes
• Review loan files and conduct risk analysis for presentation to the Credit Committee

Required Qualifications

• Minimum of 7 years of underwriting experience
• Minimum of 2 years of management or team lead experience
• Desirable experience with CRE, C&I, and SBA regulatory training regarding 7A and 504 SBA loans
• Formal Bank Credit training preferred
• Advanced knowledge of Excel and other Microsoft applications
