Commercial Data Product Owner
Job Summary
Supporting the execution and operationalization of commercialization data products, the full-time Associate Director, Commercial Data Product Owner will manage data governance and facilitate collaboration between technical and business teams to ensure effective deployment and adoption of data products.
Key responsibilities
- Translate strategic roadmaps into delivery plans, manage backlogs, and track timelines with IT
- Engage stakeholders to capture requirements and translate business workflows into user stories and technical specifications
- Support the implementation of data governance frameworks and track compliance metrics across commercial data domains
Required qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Data, Life Sciences, Business, or related field; advanced degree preferred
- Minimum 5 years of experience in data products, data governance, or analytics within pharmaceutical or life sciences organizations
- Experience with data governance principles and metadata management
- Demonstrated ability to lead delivery and execution through stakeholder engagement and cross-functional collaboration
- Working knowledge of modern data platforms and operational data governance practices
