Commercial Lines Insurance Underwriter

Job Summary

A company is looking for an Insurance Underwriter - Commercial Lines.

Key Responsibilities

• Collaborate with Business Services Specialists and Customer Service Representatives to ensure complete submission packets for new accounts
• Assist in the analysis and evaluation of new risks, providing renewal quotes and processing endorsements as needed
• Maintain accurate documentation and track all marketing submissions in the agency management system

Required Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent experience, with a minimum of 1 year of related experience in the insurance industry; an Associate degree is a plus
• P&C License must be obtained within the first 6 months of employment
• Basic knowledge of property and casualty coverages and insurance products
• Proactive and organized with the ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment
• Familiarity with Agency Management Systems such as AMS360/WorkSmart is a plus
