Commercial Lines Practice Lead

Job Summary

Seeking an experienced and technically sharp Commercial Lines Practice Lead to join a remote team, this full-time role will define coverage standards, serve as a technical authority for complex risk placements, and develop strategies to address coverage gaps across commercial lines products.

Key Responsibilities

• Define coverage standards and market approach for each class of business within your product family
• Serve as the final technical reference for complex risk placement, carrier selection, and coverage questions across the retail channel
• Develop training programs and reference tools that elevate agent performance across your product family

Required Qualifications

• 7+ years of P&C insurance experience with breadth across commercial lines - GL, PL, Property, and related lines
• MGA, carrier, wholesale broker, or E&S underwriting background strongly preferred
• Demonstrated ability to evaluate unfamiliar risks and develop subject matter expertise independently
• Strong working knowledge of compliance considerations, regulatory requirements, and coverage adequacy standards
• CIC, CPCU, AU, AINS, or similar designation preferred
