Commercial Lines Underwriter

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Commercial Lines Underwriter to develop and maintain relationships with sales representatives, agents, and brokers.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage submissions to achieve decline or quoting status within service level agreements
• Interact with carriers and producers to gather information and determine pricing, coverages, and exclusions
• Review and respond to underwriting audits and provide necessary reports for underwriting analysis

Required Qualifications

• 3-5 years of commercial insurance underwriting experience required; 1-2 years of wholesale distribution experience preferred
• Ability to apply loss development and advanced loss analysis concepts for optimal pricing
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office products, including Word, Outlook, and Excel
