Job Summary
To support a growing Commercial Lines Underwriting team, the full-time Underwriter I will underwrite new business submissions, oversee territory growth and profitability, and collaborate with internal and external partners, with options for remote or hybrid work arrangements.
Key Responsibilities
- Underwrite new business submissions, renewals, and endorsements
- Oversee growth and profitability of an underwriting territory
- Collaborate with sales, claims, loss control, and agency partners
Required Qualifications
- 3+ years of experience in commercial multi-line underwriting
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Insurance, or a related field
- Completion of a certificate in General Insurance and Associate in Underwriting program
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
- Ability to mentor and support team development
