Commercial Lines Underwriting Assistant

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Commercial Lines Underwriting Assistant to support clients and enhance the underwriting department's efficiency.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist underwriting with agent inquiries and prepare accurate quotes for delivery to agents
• Maintain and complete electronic files according to company guidelines
• Prepare binding documentation and issue/review policies, endorsements, audits, or cancellations as directed

Required Qualifications

• 1-2 years of insurance underwriting or producer assistance experience
• Prior customer service experience or training
• Proficient in Microsoft Office 365 suite
