Commercial Lines Underwriting Consultant

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Commercial Lines Consultant to coordinate and execute underwriting projects and initiatives that drive profitability and corporate strategy.

Key Responsibilities

• Coordinate strategic underwriting projects to optimize implemented solutions
• Collaborate with various teams to research and enhance insurance products and protocols
• Manage multi-phase, cross-functional projects focused on underwriting profitability and efficiency

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree is strongly preferred
• CPCU or evidence of continuing education in the insurance industry is preferred
• Eight to ten years in the property and casualty industry, including three to five years in underwriting
• Department-level project management experience with formal project management methodology
• Comprehensive knowledge of the underwriting function and property and casualty industry
