Commercial Lines Underwriting Supervisor

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Commercial Lines Underwriting Supervisor to lead and manage a team of underwriters.

Key Responsibilities

• Evaluate performance of underwriters to ensure compliance with underwriting guidelines
• Manage the quality process and territory to meet regulatory requirements
• Develop strategic plans for profitable growth in collaboration with the Director of Regional Underwriting Operations

Required Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of experience in Commercial Lines Underwriting preferred
• Leadership and management experience in the insurance industry preferred
• Strong knowledge of General Liability, Worker's Compensation, Property, and Commercial Auto lines
• Proven track record in underwriting and portfolio management in the middle market segment
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience preferred; CPCU, CIC designations highly desirable
