Commercial Loan Officer
Job Summary
To support a growing financial institution, the full-time Commercial Loan Officer will originate, evaluate, and advance commercial lending opportunities while managing relationships with borrowers and credit union partners in a fully remote environment.
Key responsibilities
- Generate, evaluate, and structure various commercial loan opportunities, including CRE and SBA products
- Perform financial analysis and pre-screening to assess creditworthiness and deal viability
- Coordinate with internal teams to ensure efficient loan processing from origination to closing
Required qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business, Accounting, or a related field (or equivalent experience)
- 5+ years of experience in commercial real estate lending
- Strong understanding of commercial loan products, credit analysis, and underwriting fundamentals
- Knowledge of syndication/participation lending preferred
- Proven ability to build relationships and manage multiple deals simultaneously
