Commercial Loan Officer
Job Summary
Responsible for originating and advancing commercial lending opportunities, the full-time Commercial Loan Officer will work remotely, managing referral relationships, guiding borrowers through the lending process, and collaborating with internal teams to ensure efficient deal execution.
Key responsibilities
- Generate, evaluate, and structure commercial loan opportunities, including CRE, term loans, and SBA products
- Perform financial analysis and pre-screening to assess creditworthiness and deal viability
- Coordinate with internal teams to efficiently manage the loan process from origination through closing
Required qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business, Accounting, or a related field (or equivalent experience)
- 5+ years of experience in commercial real estate lending
- Strong understanding of commercial loan products, credit analysis, and underwriting fundamentals
- Demonstrated ability to build relationships and collaborate cross-functionally
- Effective sales and negotiation skills with a proven ability to close deals
